Purpose
The Network of Certified KIT Coaches exists to uphold the highest professional, ethical, and educational standards within KIT-Coaching. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the quality of coaching delivered under the KIT framework, protect client wellbeing, and support the continuous professional development of KIT Coaches.
Independent Role
The Network is an independent professional body. It operates separately from commercial training providers to ensure unbiased oversight of:
- Certification standards
- Ethical conduct
- Supervision requirements
- Accreditation of educators and supervisors
This independence reinforces trust, transparency, and legitimacy for clients, coaches, and organizations engaging with KIT-Coaching.
Vision and Mandate
The Network's long-term vision is to build a strong and credible professional community grounded in ethical integrity, reflective practice, and evidence-informed coaching models.
Its mandate includes:
- Defining and maintaining standards for certification and professional conduct
- Approving supervisors and training providers
- Administering the Ethics Committee and handling complaints
- Supporting coaches through guidance, policies, and continued professional development
- Protecting the reputation and ethical foundation of the KIT-Coaching method
