FAQ for Aspiring Coaches

Do I need previous coaching experience?

Not necessarily. Many trainees come from leadership, HR, education, or other people-focused professions. Suitability and motivation are more important than prior coaching experience.

How long does the certification process take?

Depending on the training provider and study pace, programs typically run from several months to a year, including supervised practice and assessment.

Can I train while working full-time?

Yes. KIT-Coach training is designed to be compatible with full-time work, though it requires commitment and regular practice.

Do I need to arrange my own supervision during training?

Supervision is typically organized through the training provider, but trainees may also choose approved external supervisors.

Will I be able to coach professionally after certification?

Yes. Upon certification and compliance with supervision requirements, you may practice as an Active KIT Coach, either independently or within an organization.

What happens if I do not pass the assessment?

You may receive feedback and the opportunity to retry components after further learning, supervision, or practice.
