When hiring external KIT-Coaches, organizations should establish clear agreements covering:
- Scope of work
- Confidentiality and data protection
- Session frequency and format
- Red flags and escalation pathways
- Supervisory requirements
- Expected reporting (non-identifiable and contractually appropriate)
KIT-Coaches must be certified, active, and compliant with annual supervision requirements.
Quality Assurance
To maintain coaching excellence, organizations should verify:
- Coach certification and active status
- Evidence of annual supervision
- Adherence to the KIT Code of Conduct
- Clear coaching objectives aligned with organizational goals
- The coach's independence in sensitive matters
Quality assurance protects both the organization and the individual receiving coaching.
Transparency & Reporting
Coaches may share progress updates with the organization only within agreed boundaries and without revealing personal or sensitive information.
Typical permissible reporting includes:
- Engagement status
- Attendance / participation
- High-level themes related to development (non-identifiable)
- Recommendations for next steps (with consent)
