Minimum Requirement — Active KIT Coaches must attend at least four supervision sessions per year.
Approved Supervisor Qualifications
Supervisors must:
- Be formally trained in supervision
- Have deep knowledge of the KIT-Coaching framework
- Be approved by the Network of Certified KIT Coaches
Accepted Supervision Formats
- Individual supervision
- Group supervision
- Digital or in-person sessions
All formats count equally as long as they meet quality criteria.
Recommendations for Observation / Live Feedback
Where feasible, supervision may include:
- Session recordings (with client consent)
- Live observation
- Structured case reflection
These methods enhance skill development and reflective practice.
Anonymization & Client Privacy
Coaches must present cases in supervision without revealing:
- Client identity
- Sensitive organizational information
- Any personal data that could compromise confidentiality
When Additional Supervision Is Required
Extra supervision may be required when:
- Ethical questions arise
- Boundary issues occur
- Complex or high-risk situations emerge
- A coach has been the subject of a complaint
